{"id":43,"date":"2020-05-15T14:14:05","date_gmt":"2020-05-15T12:14:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/disorder.dk\/wonderware\/?p=43"},"modified":"2020-05-15T14:35:53","modified_gmt":"2020-05-15T12:35:53","slug":"upgrading-to-system-platform-2020","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/disorder.dk\/wonderware\/2020\/05\/15\/upgrading-to-system-platform-2020\/","title":{"rendered":"Upgrading to System Platform 2020"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>AVEVA Wonderware System Platform 2020 was released for download April 27th 2020 in the Knowledge and Support Center. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The following is a guide through the upgrade from System Platform 2017 Update 3 to System Platform 2020. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Remember to backup all data before performing a upgrade<\/span>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Supported System Platform Versions for Product Upgrade. You can upgrade directly to System Platform 2020 from the following versions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>System Platform 2017 Update 3 SP1<\/li><li>System Platform 2017 Update 3<\/li><li>System Platform 2017 Update 2<\/li><li>System Platform 2017 Update 1<\/li><li>System Platform 2017<\/li><li>System Platform 2014 R2 SP1 with Patch 01 and\/or Patch 02<\/li><li>System Platform 2014 R2 SP1<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The setup scans the system for existing installations and give a list of the programs currently installed that will be affected by this upgrade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"410\" height=\"728\" src=\"http:\/\/disorder.dk\/wonderware\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/systemplatform2020_upgrade2_programs_affected.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-46\" srcset=\"https:\/\/disorder.dk\/wonderware\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/systemplatform2020_upgrade2_programs_affected.jpg 410w, https:\/\/disorder.dk\/wonderware\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/systemplatform2020_upgrade2_programs_affected-169x300.jpg 169w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 410px) 100vw, 410px\" \/><figcaption>My already installed System Platform 2017 with Application Server 2017 Update 3 SP1 17.3.100<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>As seen in the next screenshot, adding or removing components is not possible in the upgrade.
