A summary of what is found on your local network is shown. Let us start by getting some information about our hardware that is running HAOS. We would like to see information about CPU, RAM and disk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As HAOS is agnostic about its Proxmox host, we need a way to get data from the Proxmox server itself, to an integration in HAOS. Go to Settings &gt; Devices &amp; services &gt; Click <strong>+ Add Integration<\/strong> bottom right corner. But we do not yet have a Glances server (<a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/nicolargo\/glances\/wiki\">https:\/\/github.com\/nicolargo\/glances\/wiki<\/a>) to get data from. <strong>Press the ? mark<\/strong> to get to the integration documentation: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.home-assistant.io\/integrations\/glances\">https:\/\/www.home-assistant.io\/integrations\/glances<\/a> thats lists these informations:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Support for Glances api version 2 is deprecated. It is recommended to upgrade your Glances server to version 3. Once upgraded, reload the integration to connect again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These sensors needs a running instance of&nbsp;<code>glances<\/code>&nbsp;in&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/glances.readthedocs.io\/en\/latest\/quickstart.html#web-server-mode\">Web Server Mode<\/a>&nbsp;on the host. The minimal supported version of&nbsp;<code>glances<\/code>&nbsp;is 2.3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For details about auto-starting&nbsp;<code>glances<\/code>, please refer to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/nicolargo\/glances\/wiki\/Start-Glances-through-Systemd\">Start Glances through Systemd<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So we now know we have to install Glances on the host, which is Proxmox itself, and we need to run it in web server mode and we have to do something for auto-starting. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We do this by using the guide from Glances official documentation (<a href=\"https:\/\/glances.readthedocs.io\/\">https:\/\/glances.readthedocs.io\/<\/a>). When looking for solutions to Proxmox OS, it can help to look for Debian help, as its based on that OS, and your problem is not directly related to virtualization. Use the following command in the shell: <strong>apt install pipx<\/strong> Answer <strong>Y<\/strong> to installation list and press enter. (python3-pip will not work, unless you delete security features between OS and python, which goes without saying, is a bad idea. Use the following command in the shell: <strong>glances -w &#8211;password<\/strong> (we will just use the default username glances).
